? Thai Basil

Thai basil is a herb with a pleasant aroma reminiscent of anise and cloves in its leaves. The stems and flowers are purple. Use fresh leaves in cooking just like sweet basil. It is widely used in Southeast Asia, playing a particularly important role in Vietnamese cuisine. It is also the most commonly used variety when making Asian dishes in the West. In Thailand, it's called Horapha, and in Vietnam, it's Húng qu?. It is an annual plant of the Lamiaceae family.
Can be used in soups, green curry, and stir-fries.
