Description
Sprouts have emerged from our sansho pepper seeds. They were sown last late autumn.

This listing is for the 5 seedlings shown in Image 1.
They are still baby seedlings.
Please check Images 7-8 for their size. They are growing daily.
In Image 10, when the fruits turn red each year, Japanese wood pigeons come to eat them.
Images 11-12 are from previous listings. Image 12 is still in stock.

They might be Yamasakura Sansho.
I remember my late grandfather saying they were Yamasakura Sansho.
Yamasakura Sansho is said to be an intermediate between Sansho and Asakura Sansho.
Please check the condition of the thorns in Images 9-10. They are not densely covered in thorns.

Since my grandfather has passed away, I can no longer confirm if they are Yamasakura Sansho. Therefore, I ask for your understanding.

They will be removed from their pots, with soil around the roots, wrapped in plastic wrap, and shipped in a Nekoposu box.
As Nekoposu has a thickness limit of 3cm, the soil depth will be close to 3cm.

In my home, we use the sansho from Image 12, ground into powder, as a condiment. It is very delicious. It's not just spicy, but also fruity.

Thank you.
