Description
The Japanese rowan (Nanakamado), as its name suggests, is known for its dense and fire-resistant wood, said to be so durable that it won't burn even if put in a kiln seven times. It is also considered an auspicious plant, believed to prevent fires.
The vibrant autumn Momiji and the bright red berries that remain until winter create a beautiful contrast, making it a very popular tree species for gardens and street trees.
We will send you a processed piece approximately 10 cm in size from the one pictured.
Japanese rowan is a relatively easy tree species to grow, even for beginners, **as long as the environment is suitable.**
