Even for cats and very small dogs, we select aged, hard branches and peel the bark to create these toys.

Since we do not hollow out the wood, peel the bark, or shave it, many customers have kindly told us that the hardness and how much dogs take to them are different from other products ?

We've made this a set of two, one pear wood and one zelkova wood, for those who want to try both.

Please note that measurements are approximate as they are taken by an amateur.

This size is suitable for dogs around 10kg, excluding Japanese breeds, but please refer to the pink photos.
Please compare the size with your dog's mouth size and the size of their current stuffed animals or balls.
For dogs in the teething stage, male Japanese dogs, and active breeds with strong chewing power, a slightly thinner diameter will allow them to hold it longer and enjoy it more.

Pear wood branches are less likely to have splinters, and the wood shavings after chewing crumble like cork, so they are harmless if swallowed.
The bark was peeled off one by one from pear branches from Niigata Prefecture and dried for two years.

As these are amateur handmade items, they are cut with a chainsaw and the small branches are sanded with a belt sander (file). However, please understand that there may be missed spots, or cracks and splits due to excessive drying.
As it is made of wood, it will not damage their teeth, and as long as you choose the size carefully, there is no risk of injuring their mouths. However, please supervise your dog while they play.
Please refrain from using if your dog has fruit allergies.
