Mustard greens can be grown in fields or planters, making them a great vegetable to try in your home garden. They are commonly cultivated in Hokkaido, Tohoku, and Kanto regions, and some varieties have been traditionally grown for a long time.
Mustard greens are related to takana and have a strong pungent flavor when chewed.
The seeds are used as a raw material for mustard powder.
Compared to takana varieties, they are smaller with narrower, more deeply cut leaves.
Mustard greens can be used widely, from young leaves to large plants that have started to bolt.

? Kale is a vegetable rich in lutein, β-carotene, calcium, melatonin, vitamins (E & C), dietary fiber, etc.

The optimal sowing periods are spring sowing from March to April and summer sowing from July to August. Harvest is approximately 3 months after sowing.
