● Product Details (Condition, etc.)
This is a very rare transparent shakuhachi.
The material is likely acrylic.
The manufacturer and model number are indicated by a sticker that reads TEKIZAN TN18S.
(Part of the sticker is peeling off.)
I don't have expertise in shakuhachi and cannot play it, but I tried imitating how to play it by searching online, and I was able to produce a sound somewhat like a shakuhachi. I believe a skilled player could produce a proper sound.
(Cleaned with alcohol-free wet wipes to avoid damaging the acrylic.)
It can be separated into two parts, allowing for compact storage during transport.
When assembling, simply align the marks to connect it straight.
This is a pre-owned item and shows some signs of use, but there are no noticeable scratches, and the transparency of the material is not compromised.
It can still be used for a long time to come.
Transparent shakuhachi are quite rare and unusual.
It has a different charm compared to bamboo shakuhachi.
This would be a great opportunity for those looking for a unique instrument or for collectors.
It will be shipped in two disassembled parts.
Rest assured, it will be carefully packaged to prevent any shipping accidents.
