Fresh, lively firefly squid from Toyama Prefecture, caught in the early morning hours of April 13, 2026!

(I took a photo with the clock as it seems the morning paper is off today. We caught a total of 40L.)

These were scooped from deep waters, so they do not contain sand. (However, they may contain marine debris such as wood chips, seaweed, small fish, or other similar squid.)

I caught these to eat at home.
Since I have extra to share with relatives, friends, acquaintances, and colleagues, I am selling them on Mercari.

As raw food is prohibited for sale on Mercari, I am reluctantly selling them as frozen fishing bait!
(It's a shame, as they are actually for human consumption. T_T)
But if you catch a big one using them as bait, you'll be like a straw-millionaire! Haha!

They are portioned into approximately 400g-420g packages and placed in M-sized Ziploc bags.

They are frozen flat for easy storage in the freezer and thawing.

The total weight will be under 5kg, so it will be shipped via Kuroneko Yamato Cool便 (cool delivery service) size 80. To ensure the total weight including the cardboard box and packing materials is under 5kg, the actual net weight will be approximately 4.4kg for sale.

Since Mercari shipping does not support cool delivery, please understand that shipping will be via Kuroneko Yamato Cool Takkyubin C.O.D. (cash on delivery)!
