Freshly caught, plump firefly squid from Toyama Prefecture, caught in the late night/early morning of April 13, 2026!

(Since there were no newspapers this morning, I took a photo with the clock. We caught a total of 40 liters.)

We scooped them up from deep water, so they are free of sand. (However, there may be some marine debris such as wood chips, seaweed, small fish, or other similar squid.)

I caught these to eat at home.
Since I have extra after sharing with relatives, friends, acquaintances, and colleagues, I'm selling them on Mercari.

According to Mercari's rules, raw food for consumption is prohibited, so I am reluctantly selling them as frozen fishing bait!
(It's a shame, as they are truly delicious for humans. 😭)
But if you catch a big one using them as bait, you'll be like a straw-millionaire! lol

They are portioned into approximately 400g-420g packages and placed in M-sized Ziploc bags.

They are frozen flat for easy storage in the freezer and thawing.

The total weight will be under 5kg, so we will ship via Kuroneko Yamato Cool便 (cool delivery) size 80. To ensure the total weight including the cardboard box and packing materials is under 5kg, the actual net weight will be approximately 4.4kg.

Since Mercari shipping does not support cool delivery, please understand that we will be shipping via Kuroneko Yamato Cool Takkyubin (cash on delivery).
