These were caught at Yaezu Beach in Toyama Prefecture from the night of Monday, April 13, 2026, to the early morning of Tuesday, April 14.
I caught them for consumption, but yesterday the waves were high, and it was a sandy beach. Despite rescuing the firefly squid from the surface, they ended up with sand in them.
Therefore, these are for bait.
I carefully caught them, put them in a bag, and iced them. I brought them back in one bag and portioned them out. They have not touched fresh water. There are 6 packs of 200g each, frozen.
