These firefly squid were just caught today, March 21, 2026, in Toyama Prefecture!
They were scooped from deep waters, so they are free of sand. (However, they may contain marine debris such as wood chips, seaweed, fishing line, etc.)

We originally planned to share these firefly squid with relatives, friends, acquaintances, and colleagues, but we caught so many that we decided to sell them on Mercari.

Since raw food is prohibited for sale on Mercari, we are selling them as frozen fishing bait.

As shown in the photos, we are selling a set of 19 bags (approximately 9.5kg), with each bag weighing over 500g in a Ziploc (M size)!

To make them easy to use as fishing bait, they will be portioned and frozen thinly and flat, allowing for shorter thawing times!

The total weight will be under 10kg, so we will ship via Kuroneko Yamato refrigerated cool delivery, size 100. The 19-bag set is designed to keep the total weight, including the cardboard box and packing materials, under 10kg!

Since Mercari shipping does not support refrigerated delivery, please understand that we will be shipping via Kuroneko Yamato cool delivery, cash on delivery.

The cash on delivery fee will vary depending on your region, so please refer to the images.
The cash on delivery fee will be the sum of the delivery fee + the cool delivery fee!
