【Rare, High-Grade】Artur Teller No.592 Viola with Case

This is a viola, Model No. 592, made in 1980 by the prestigious German workshop, Artur Teller.
Size: 40.5cm (16 inches)

The No. 592, a higher-grade model from Teller, is known for its use of carefully selected, high-quality wood. The back plate features beautiful tiger flame (flame maple), and after nearly 45 years of aging since its 1980 production, it possesses a depth and mature resonance that new instruments cannot replicate.
[Regarding Tone (Subjective Impression)] True to its status as a high-end German model, it boasts a very powerful and rich sound.
Low Notes (C & G Strings): Due to its 16-inch size, it produces a robust and powerful low end, characteristic of a viola.
High Notes (D & A Strings): The clear, focused sound extends straight and true. High positions are also clear, allowing for a brilliant resonance.

There are minor scratches from age and surface marks from the adjuster, but overall the varnish is still lustrous. There are no major cracks or areas requiring repair, and it can be considered in excellent condition for a 1980 instrument.

Includes an Esprit UL Oblong (Brown) hard case.

Due to age, the leather logo part shows deterioration, but otherwise, there are no noticeable scratches or damage.
It has been cleaned and is in very clean condition.
One shoulder strap is included, but please note that it is not designed as a backpack-style case for carrying on both shoulders as per its original design.
