Ernest Fischer is a German bow brand that is not commonly seen in Japan, but appears to be known in Europe and America.
They primarily produced mid-to-high-end bows with silver fittings, and were seemingly sold individually or as part of sets with high-end violins.

This bow features a GDR stamp on the heel, indicating it was made around the 1960s-1980s.
With a pernambuco stick and silver fittings, this bow would typically be in the ¥200,000-¥300,000 range, even at a lower price point.
The button is adorned with a ruby-colored Swarovski crystal.

The bow has been rehaired and maintained. Please apply rosin generously before use.
