【For Domenico - Pickup Only】Suzuki Double Bass No. 400

This is a listing for a domestically produced Suzuki double bass (upright bass) (No. 400 Size 4/4 Anno 1977) from my collection.
Details are unknown due to a lack of detailed documentation, but the top and back appear to be solid wood, and the sides appear to be plywood. I felt the same way when I acquired a No. 180 instrument previously; it has a moist and gentle resonance, making it an instrument that doesn't tire you out even with prolonged use and makes you want to keep playing.
Incidentally, the manufacturing period for SUZUKI's No. 400 was from 1974 to 1980, and its price in 1977 was reportedly 500,000 yen. It is a beautiful instrument for its age, but as shown in photos 9 and 10, there are some minor scuffs from use.
The strings are currently fitted with original Flat Chromes (used), but depending on the genre, it might be better to switch to Spirocore or similar strings. If possible, I would like to accommodate such requests.
A Carlo Giordano carrying bag (BSC-300 Black with casters) (used) (photos 13 & 14) is included as an accessory. If you do not need the case, we will offer a discount of 23,000 yen. Please let us know in advance.

We cannot arrange for shipping through a delivery company. Therefore, please pick up the item at my home in eastern Sakata City, Yamagata Prefecture, or in western Osaki City, Miyagi Prefecture.
For locations within Yamagata Prefecture or nearby prefectures not too far away (e.g., south of Akita City, Akita Prefecture; north of Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture; north of Niigata City, Niigata Prefecture, etc.), we can deliver to a designated nearby location for the actual cost of fuel, etc. If you are along the Tohoku Shinkansen line, we can deliver to the nearest Shinkansen station for the actual transportation costs. (We can even accommodate delivery to Ueno Station in Tokyo.)
Test playing is also possible, so please contact us. The test playing location will be in western Osaki City or at my home. If test playing in Osaki City, a venue rental fee of 500 yen per person (plus an additional fee for each accompanying person) will be charged. Please understand this in advance.
