Dynamite! SUMMER NIGHT FEVER at Kokuritsu Kinen Hall

This hat was created to commemorate The Greatest Martial Arts World Cup Dynamite! SUMMER NIGHT FEVER in Kokuritsu, held on August 28, 2002, as the first-ever martial arts event at the old National Stadium.

This was a martial arts event that generated significant buzz, featuring cooperation from K-1, PRIDE, and Mr. Antonio Inoki. It was the first martial arts event ever held at the old National Stadium, marked the professional mixed martial arts debut of Hidehiko Yoshida, the 1992 Barcelona Olympics Judo Men's 78kg gold medalist, and included the Mirko Cro Cop vs. Kazushi Sakuraba fight. Over 90,000 spectators attended the event outdoors on a midsummer night, and pay-per-view sales set a Japanese record at the time with 100,000 purchases.

This hat was made to commemorate that event and is a rare item featuring a print of the Dynamite! logo, illustrations of Hidehiko Yoshida, Royce Gracie, Kazushi Sakuraba, and Mirko Cro Cop.

Although over 20 years old, this item is unused. We welcome those who cannot forget the excitement and impact of that event, and those who are collecting Dynamite! merchandise!
