Triple-strand faux pearl chain belt.  Total Length 38.5” Central belt 32” Extension chain: 6.5” Width 1” ⚠️see condition disclosure below.   This Carlisle NY PerSe statement chain belt  features gold-tone interlocking side chains weaving along three continuous rows of polished white beads. The ends are finished with clean-cut rectangular gold metal caps, a secure lobster clasp closure, and an extended drop-down link chain for adjustable sizing. Accessories like this are typically worn over high-waisted dresses, long cardigans, or blazers to cinch the waistline and add a classic vintage touch. The original retail price for high-end vintage Carlisle Collection chain and novelty statement belts ranged from $150 to $250. Because Carlisle operated primarily through a high-end, direct-sales boutiques rather than standard department store retail, their seasonal accessories were produced in limited quantities, commanding a premium price point for luxury American craftsmanship. ⚠️ The belt has a temporary repair to the lobster clasp and attached closure post. Other than that, the belt is in excellent condition with no loose beads nor chain links. Finish is flawless.  The lobster clasp is fully functional, however it could be re-done more professionally. The heavy rectangular ends show light scratches to the gold finish.
