Vintage 79s handmade knit Afghan blanket brown blue raised leaf Counterpane

A very RARE Hand knitted afghan with raised leaf design and large squares. Each one was hand sewn together. Beautiful brown ,tan and blue fringe around the edges. This is in excellent condition. It is from the 70s and the colors are a dark chocolate brown , tan and Ice blue. This has been well preserved and it doesn’t have any holes , stains or oders . It’s cleaned and comes from a smoke free and pet free home. The person that made this put in many long hours. This was a real labor of love . It would look amazing over a sofa or chair. It could even be used as a bed cover. I have it on a Queen sized bed in the photos. It has a modern Boho vibe , however, it will fit in with almost any decor. You will own a pie of history. No one makes these anymore. 78” x 74”
