MAPPON REED - For Yumimi-sama - Set of 3 - Nekoposu

These are the super popular MAPPON reeds, sold at Wind Instrument Specialty Store DUCK, Dolce Gakki Osaka/Nagoya stores, Mikigakki Wind Forest, Wind Instrument Workshop La Grison, Harmony Gakki, Morioka Gakki, Telemann Gakki, and MUSIC ATELIER 524 in Fukuoka Prefecture.

Learned reed making under Mr. Henry Handtke and Mr. Stefan Schilli, who were the first oboe teachers to sell reeds under the name Berlin in Japan.
We produce and sell reeds while performing as a professional musician and teaching future generations at Osaka College of Music.

The tone is surprisingly rich and soft, with a very resonant sound rich in overtones. You will rarely find such reeds elsewhere.

A common problem with oboe reeds is the large variation in quality (hit or miss).
We use only carefully selected, high-quality materials, so there are basically no misses such as poor tone or intonation.
Please try our hit reeds, which we deliver with confidence.

MAPPON REED uses new 46mm Guercio D12 tubes. Custom orders for specific tubes are possible for an additional fee. (Loreé reeds pair well with Loreé tubes.)

The budget-friendly RT model uses recycled tubes, and the length and manufacturer cannot be chosen.

We can accommodate requests for heavier or lighter reeds, lower or higher pitch, and changes in length.

We also produce and sell reeds for other instruments such as d'amore, English horn, baroque oboe, and classical oboe.

Shipping is via Yu-Packet Post mini, but can be changed to Nekoposu for an additional ¥100. Standard mail is ¥100 less, but arrival may be slightly delayed.
