MAPPON REED - For Shion Only - Set of 2 - Nekoposu

These are the super popular MAPPON reeds, sold at the wind instrument specialty store DUCK, Dolce Gakki Osaka and Nagoya stores, Miki Gakki Wind Forest, wind instrument workshop La Grison, Harmony Gakki, Morioka Gakki, Teleman Gakki, and MUSIC ATELIER 524 in Fukuoka Prefecture.

Studied reed making under Henry Handtke and Stefan Schilli, who were the first teachers of oboe reed sales under the name Berlin in Japan.
We produce and sell reeds while performing as a professional musician and teaching the next generation at Osaka College of Music.

The tone is surprisingly rich and soft, with a lot of overtones, creating a very resonant reed. You will rarely find such reeds elsewhere.

A common problem with oboe reeds is the inconsistency between good and bad reeds.
We use only carefully selected high-quality materials, so there are basically no bad reeds with poor tone or intonation.
Please try our good reeds, which we deliver with confidence.

MAPPON REED tubes use new guercio D12 46mm tubes. Custom orders are possible for an additional fee if you have a preferred tube. (Loreé reeds pair well with Loreé tubes.)

The budget-friendly RT uses recycled tubes for the reeds, and the length and manufacturer cannot be chosen.

We can accommodate requests for heavier, lighter, lower pitch, higher pitch, and changes in length.
