This is a KRUSPE (G.H.Huller) bassoon, which was on par with Adler and Sonor from West Germany at the time.
Yamaha imported instruments made by Kruspe from the same factory, while Global imported instruments sold under the Huller brand.
This is a high-end bassoon made from maple wood from East Germany.

Approximately 5-6 screws are missing, causing several key posts to detach.
As it is not possible to test play, there may be other missing parts, hence it is sold as-is. The pads will also likely need replacement in some areas.
Two German-made bocals are included, but both are sold as-is.
The case also has issues with its clasps and hinges, so please consider it for protection during transport only.
While it may be possible to repair it to a playable condition by a repair technician, it will likely incur significant costs.

Generally, bassoons are made from wood that is considered better when older, as it has been dried slowly and has a dense grain, resulting in a superior tone. This is similar to the reason why Stradivarius violins are highly regarded.

While Hüller and Kruspe are sometimes considered slightly inferior to Adler and Schreiber, they are still masterpieces crafted by German artisans.
