We are offering a vintage instrument (serial #22066) from W. Schreiber, one of Germany's proudest and largest bassoon manufacturers. This is a very high-quality instrument crafted by skilled artisans during the West German era in the 1980s.

This instrument uses dense Alpine maple, setting it apart from modern mass-produced instruments, and features the rich, warm, and deep resonance characteristic of German instruments.

Specifications: Standard model (equivalent to the current S16). Equipped with High D key, 4 roller keys.

Condition: This instrument has been carefully used until recently.
There are no cracks in the body, and the silver-plated keys are in beautiful condition.

While the pads show some minor dirt from use, they maintain airtightness, allowing for smooth articulation from low to high notes.

*The bell ring has a repaired crack.
