Real Wedgwood find. Small Wedgwood pale blue Jasperware possy vase form with white classical figures in high relief around the body, matte bisque finish, banded pedestal foot. The signature Wedgwood two-tone that has been in production since the 1770s.  Josiah Wedgwood introduced Jasperware in 1774, and pale blue with white classical relief is the pattern that defined the entire ceramic revival of the neoclassical era. Modern Wedgwood pieces continue the tradition with the same matte bisque body and applied white sprigs, hand-finished in Staffordshire.
