Produced by the historic Pilgrim Glass Corporation of Ceredo, West Virginia, this collectible piece features their signature deep cobalt blue colorway dating from the 1970s to the 1980s. The spherical body is heavily decorated with an intentional seeded bubble or bullicante texture, suspension-trapping hundreds of tiny air pockets directly inside the glass walls to capture light from every angle.  Standing approximately 5.5 inches tall and 5 inches wide, this striking accent piece highlights artisan craftsmanship with an elegantly cinched neck that transitions into a beautifully uniform ruffled pie-crust rim. The underside features a thick, stable polished ring foot base encircling a smooth, slightly indented center with no rough pontil.  Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or cloudy white mineral scaling inside the interior glass core.
