The Japanese brand was celebrating 50 years of alternative Harajuku attitude, while we marked 50 years of the 1460 boot. Ten years on and, naturally, we both have new anniversaries to celebrate. The two brands are overdue a reunion. The new Dr. Martens x Hello Kitty collection fuses tough DM's silhouettes with colourful Sanrio motifs. Our towering 1461 Quad shoe is built from black patent leather with asymmetrical Hello Kitty heart designs on either foot, as well as a statement dual-branded tag and metal aglet laces. Docs DNA is cemented with an AirWair heel loop and yellow welt stitching.      Second off the DM’s production line, the 1461 is a 3-eye shoe championed for its versatility     Patent Lamper is a fine-grained leather, coated to give a high shine, glossy finish. Clean with a damp cloth and restore its shine with Dr. Martens Patent Cleaner     Stacked on a 1.5 inch Quad sole     Our Goodyear-welted lines are heat-sealed at 700°C and reinforced with our signature welt stitch Upper: 100% Coated Leather Inner: 50% Leather 50% Textile Sole: 100% PVC Goodyear Welted - the upper and sole are heat-sealed and sewn together, providing more comfort and durability for years to come.
