World War I Genuine US Army M-1917 91st Infantry Division Camouflage Paint
299.00 $
Description
This is a rare, authentic World War I helmet with camouflage paint. It belonged to the 91st Infantry Division, known by the nickname Wild West, and features the division's insignia painted on the front. The helmet bears the marks of having been used in actual combat. The unique interior is well-preserved, though it shows damage consistent with its age of nearly 100 years. The leather chin strap is also present, but one side is broken. A maker's mark, possibly Y.J 148, can be confirmed (please refer to the image). This is a truly uncommon helmet.
