Description
This is a Michiyuki coat with a patterned design on a black background, used during the Showa era. The front closure has snap buttons, making it easy to put on and take off. The fabric has a subtle woven pattern that doesn't show up well in photos. There are small round patterns in white, green, and red scattered throughout. (Photos 5 and 7 are brightened to show the pattern and don't appear black, but the actual color is black!) I tried it on, and the fabric is soft and pleasant to the touch. If I had a habit of wearing kimonos, I would have used it myself... I thought. Sleeve length (from center back to cuff): 62 cm Length (from shoulder): 80 cm Stored at home.
