The image is a sample.

These are delicious, natural, pesticide-free bamboo shoots from the Chita Peninsula.
Sizes vary from small to large.

Longer shoots that do not fit in the box have had their tips cut.
The weight is measured after the tips have been cut, so you are getting a great deal compared to the usual size.

Madake are bamboo shoots that appear from late May to June and are a rare delicacy that rarely appears on the market.
Compared to moso bamboo, they have almost no bitterness, astringency, or unpleasant taste.
They are perfect for simmering, tempura, stir-fries, and more.

As these are harvested by an amateur, the cut surfaces may not be perfectly clean, but this does not affect the taste.
The mud is left on to maintain freshness.
As this is a perishable item, please complete your purchase promptly.

Occasionally, insects may be present.
As these are natural, pesticide-free products as described, please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned.

We ship from Aichi Prefecture, so please purchase if your area can receive delivery the next day.
If your area takes two days for delivery, please purchase with an understanding of the risks involved.
