?? Announcing Delicious, Safe, and Secure Rice!
At Herb Kobo SARA, we have been growing herbs with strong vitality, free from pesticides and chemical fertilizers, for about 26 years.
Using this expertise, we began producing Hinohikari rice, also free from pesticides and chemical fertilizers and with strong vitality, 11 years ago.

[This is a sales page for Polished Rice]
This is pesticide-free and fertilizer-free rice produced by Herb Kobo SARA, a pesticide-free and chemical-fertilizer-free herb garden.
Grown without any herbicides, germination agents, or other pesticides.
Direct sales from the producer.

Harvested in 2025. Grown without pesticides or chemical fertilizers.
We stagger the planting season slightly to prevent pesticide drift from other fields.
Polished rice is characterized by its chewy texture and flavor that doesn't change even when cold.
Perfect for bento boxes and onigiri.
The rich rice flavor is highly praised by our local customers.
You may find some green grains in the rice; this is a sign of young rice and is perfectly safe to eat.
(Occasionally, some grains may appear black. This is a mark left by insects due to the absence of pesticides, etc., but it does not affect the taste. The rice will turn white when cooked.)

[Storage]
Before shipping, our rice is stored in a dedicated refrigerator for rice.
This keeps it fresh at low temperatures and prevents insect infestation.
At home, please store in an airtight container and use commercially available rice insect repellents.

[Price Reductions Not Accepted]
We do not accept price negotiations for any of our products on Mercari.

※We sincerely apologize, but we cannot accept orders for partially milled rice.

※Due to the fact that our pesticide-free and chemical-fertilizer-free rice cultivation at Herb Kobo SARA results in about one-third of the yield compared to conventional farming, in order to prevent pests and diseases, we have set the price higher.
