The Boston series is a design that won a gold medal at the 1925 Paris International Exposition. This Art Deco piece harmoniously blends delicate color tones that subtly change with light reflection and a simple form. Incorporating Georges Seurat's (1859-1891) Pointillism technique, known as Chromo-luminarism, the design features small dots of blue, pink, yellow, and other colors scattered on a gold background, creating a mosaic-like pattern that sparkles with light and exudes a modern brilliance.
Perfect for espresso or demitasse coffee, it also makes a beautiful decorative piece. Recommended for those who love French porcelain and Limoges, or collectors of vintage tableware.
