Meito (Nagoya Pottery) was founded in 1911 as Imperial Pottery.
It was a leading company in export ceramics alongside Noritake before and after the war.
The name was changed to Nagoya Pottery when capital from Nagoya's business community was invested.
It is said that the roots of NARUMI (Narumi China) lie in Meito's Narumi factory.
These are lovely cups and saucers with a retro color palette, exuding a calm atmosphere amidst their splendor.
The floral parts are hand-painted.
