This is a Tokoname ware kyusu (teapot).

It is a small size with a diameter of approximately 10cm, a height of approximately 8cm, a handle length of 5.5cm, and a weight of 236.5g.

It is said that Tokoname ware and other stoneware kyusu have a certain level of water absorption and the property of removing impurities from water, which adsorbs the bitterness in tea, thereby softening the taste of the tea.

I received this over 30 years ago and it has been stored unopened.

This is a new, unused item, but it has been stored at home for a long time, so please purchase with understanding.
