Description
This is a set of 5 coasters made from Kaba-zaiku (cherry bark craft), a traditional craft of Akita Prefecture.
It features a unique luster and a subdued color tone using the bark of wild cherry trees. You can enjoy the individual variations that come with natural materials.
This item is perfect for serving guests in a Japanese-style room, as well as for adding a touch of warmth to your everyday tea time.
The changing texture over time is also one of the charms of Kaba-zaiku. We hope to pass this on to someone who understands that it is a used item.
