[Rare Red Rice]

These are seed grains of Kurenai Roman, a red rice (non-glutinous rice) with roots in wild species from Tsushima.
We are sharing seeds that we have carefully cultivated from seeds purchased from Nouken-san for our own use.

[Product Features]
? Roots: A cross between Tsushima Red Rice and Nankai No. 97.
? This variety is very vigorous, inheriting the traits of Tsushima Red Rice, which is close to ancient Japanese wild species.
? Drying Method: Hasa-kake drying (natural drying)
? After harvesting, we took the time to carefully mature and dry the seeds using the hasa-kake method. Compared to machine drying, this method preserves stronger vitality in the seed grains, leading to better germination.

[How to Enjoy]
? Mix with white rice: When cooked with 1 to 2 tablespoons mixed into 1 go (approx. 150g) of white rice, it creates beautiful, subtly pink rice.
? Rich in nutrients: The red pigment contains polyphenols (tannins), making it recommended for health-conscious individuals.
? Non-glutinous variety: This is a non-glutinous rice, not a glutinous rice, so it retains a firm, slightly chewy texture.
The color will remain and it will be easier to eat by adjusting the soaking time or by milling it 1-2 times.
