Description
Spring-sown Koshihikari rice seeds from Toyama Prefecture, genuine product for 2026 planting, approximately 100 seeds with a bonus gift. (*′艸｀)
We have prepared the perfect seeds for your home garden.
For cultivation, starting in April, sow about 5 seeds in a black pot (size 2 or 3) filled with potting soil with a high proportion of black soil.
Once you have about 20 seedlings, prepare a styrofoam box and manage them with bottom watering until mid-May.
When the roots have developed, transplant them into a black pot (size 6) and continue bottom watering until mid-September.
Once the rice ears have formed and grown, stop bottom watering and switch to regular watering.
In October, manage the seedling bed to be slightly dry.
Harvest when the rice ears turn golden yellow. ((*′▽｀*))
Enjoy harvesting rice with your children.
The seeds come with a delightful bonus gift. (*′艸｀)
We will include a few packets of seasonal flower seeds.
We recommend sowing the seeds by June 2026.
