The plants grow to 20-30 cm tall. As the name suggests, the leaves are long and narrow with saw-like serrations along the edges. The leaves are about 10-15 cm long and slender, completely different from regular cilantro.
When chewed, a strong cilantro aroma fills the mouth, but there is almost no bitterness or astringency.

?? Young leaves are an essential herb for flavoring Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, as well as Cambodian, Laotian, Singaporean, and Malaysian ethnic dishes.
The roots can also be ground and used as a seasoning.
