*Harvested in the summer of 2025 from plants grown organically (no pesticides) by my parents who are farmers.
*This year, I used a tea strainer for selection, so there are fewer small seeds and pod husks. It seems there are about 400 seeds per spoonful.
*However! Since the seeds are very small and it's difficult to count them every time, please consider it to be over 300 seeds (over 900 seeds for 3 spoonfuls).
*This item is offered at a low price because it contains pod husks and immature seeds.
*It seems that the germination rate gradually decreases after shelling, so I shell them in small batches.
*It may take some time to ship.

●About Cultivation Methods●
I receive the pods from my parents, so I don't know the detailed cultivation methods...
Optimal germination temperature: around 20℃ (from the internet)
Germinates in about 3 days without covering with soil (in my experience)
It seems to germinate from fallen seeds as well, so it appears to be easy to grow. ^ ^
It also seems possible to grow it hydroponically. ^ ^
*Spring and autumn sowing are possible, but autumn sowing seems to yield a larger harvest.

(Note)
Ice plants absorb salt from the soil and store it in their cells, giving them a salty taste. However, if the soil contains pesticides or heavy metals, they can absorb and accumulate them along with the salt.
Please be extra careful about the cultivation site, more so than with other vegetables.
