This is a vintage 1940s-1950s 14K gold-filled Hamilton Eric.

Unlike modern gold plating, 14K gold filling is highly durable and will not peel off like gold plating.

I purchased this watch because I fell in love with it. I replaced the original strap with a new stretch band from the 70s, which was vintage deadstock, and cleaned the exterior to a beautiful condition.
The original leather strap, which shows minimal signs of wear, will also be included.
There are some minor hairline scratches, but overall it is in very beautiful condition.
The dial and hands show some minor scratches and dullness due to their age, but considering their vintage nature, they are in very good condition.

The indices at 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, and 11 o'clock on the dial change to beautiful colors depending on the angle of the light. The material used is unknown, but it should be visible in the close-up photos.

The photo of the case back is from the previous owner, but it appears the movement has been overhauled and is likely in good condition.
Winding is smooth with no catching, but as this is an old watch, we cannot guarantee against future issues.

I purchased this watch for my collection and display purposes only, and have never worn it outside.
