【Pesticide-Free】2-Year-Old Shikuwasa Seedlings (Set of 3)! ★Food for Swallowtail Butterflies

This is a seedling that sprouted from a Shikuwasa grown in our garden.

It has overwintered outdoors once through the extreme cold and will be 2 years old this year ^^.
It was dug up from the ground, soaked in a solution of Menedel, and is now planted in a pot. Although the trunk is thinner than the 3-year-old seedling also listed separately, it is in its prime growing season with soft new leaves beginning to emerge ^^.

★This listing is for a set of 3 seedlings, approximately 15 cm (excluding root length) from the ground surface as shown in the image.

Since no pesticides are used, there are signs of insect damage on the leaves (see image). These are traces of leaf miners and where swallowtail butterfly larvae have eaten after laying eggs. The presence of insects is a natural occurrence when pesticides are not used ^^.
Swallowtail butterfly larvae are moved to the parent tree as soon as they are found, but please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about this or are looking for a perfect product.

Start by planting in a pot ^^. As the seedling grows, increasing the pot size will help it grow larger. In our home, we gradually increased the pot size over several years and eventually planted it in the ground. Now, it blooms with white flowers every year (see image) and bears fruit around the end of summer ^^.

After your purchase, we will remove the seedlings from the container shown in the image on a sunny day and ship them via the 4th class postal service on the same day.
We have set the shipping time to 7 days to account for weather conditions.

Once they arrive, please plant them as soon as possible and enjoy their growth with plenty of water and sunlight. In our home, we enjoy them as freshly squeezed Shikuwasa sours, honey Shikuwasa juice, or squeezed over grilled fish ^^.

(There are also many Shikuwasa recipes available online ^^.)
