Rag rug mat | Zabuton (floor cushion) | Cushion | White x Gray | Linen Cotton | One-of-a-kind

This cushion-sized mat was slowly woven on a small loom using strips of white cotton, ecru-grey linen, and organic cotton fabric. The innocence of the materials and the passage of time have created a soft, condensed landscape. The intentionally loose weave allows threads to playfully emerge, adding charm.

This fabric art can be freely displayed, not just as a cushion for chairs. Please enjoy this one-of-a-kind piece, layering it with natural forms and your own inner landscape.

【Wall Decor】
Simply hang it on the wall with small nails or push pins. It also looks lovely framed or with a fabric about twice its size as a background.

【Table Runner/Mat】
Place it on top of furniture like shoe cabinets to display your favorite items.

【Picnic Mat】
Roll it up and take it on an outing to the fields and mountains. It will protect you from the cold on logs or grass.

This item has been taken outdoors to gardens and fields a few times. There are some spots where sap has stained the wood when placed on a log. It should be usable without issue if turned over to the back. The price reflects this minor imperfection.

Size: 35cm x 26cm

I paused my fabric work for about two and a half years to focus on meditation and Ayurvedic practices. Utilizing that learning, I am re-releasing older works at sale prices as I resume production. Please explore the world of threads woven from nature and craftsmanship.
