This is a commemorative sheet (fabric) from the Osaka Expo 1970!
It measures approximately 86cm x 60cm, and I remember it being placed under a mat on my study desk a long time ago.
There are no particular stains, but there are some marks on the corners of the sheet where stickers may have been attached and removed.
