This is a black wool bowler hat that I remember buying a long time ago at an antique shop.

The ribbon is frayed, so it might be a good idea to have it repaired. There are some areas with a whitish discoloration or stain.

The inner circumference of the hat is 55cm, according to my amateur measurements (please forgive any errors).
