Vintage MCM Green Pirate Salt & Pepper Shakers Ceramic Figural Pair

Fantastic vintage ceramic figural salt and pepper shaker set featuring two wonderfully grumpy pirates in a rich mottled green glaze. Each pirate has a dramatically sculpted face, head scarf, eye patch and dark boot details, with deep green-black accents that give the figures an almost celadon pottery appearance. Their exaggerated expressions are what make this pair so good — quirky, slightly menacing and full of mid-century character. Approximately 3¼ tall. Unmarked vintage ceramic. Exact maker and country of origin are unknown. Based on the styling, glaze and construction, these appear consistent with mid-century novelty ceramics, likely circa 1950s–60s. Excellent display pieces for a vintage shaker collection, nautical décor, pirate collection, bar cart, curiosity cabinet or eclectic kitchen. Condition: Very good vintage condition. No obvious chips or cracks visible in the photos. shakers do not have the bottom corks. Please review all photographs for glaze variations and age-related wear.
