Made with naturally dried cedar wood. For recent heat countermeasures, the bottom board can be swapped between a standard type and a 6mm mesh wire screen. By removing the bottom board, internal inspections can be easily performed using a smartphone, mirror, etc. The top is made with plywood with slits to accommodate wax moths, Acarapis woodi (bee mites), and a winter feeder. Four metal rods are included as a measure to prevent comb collapse.
Usage instructions are included in the letter along with tips for attracting bees.
