Made from naturally dried cedar wood. For recent heat countermeasures, the bottom board can be swapped between a standard type and a 6mm mesh wire screen. By removing the bottom board, internal inspections can be easily performed using a smartphone, mirror, or other tools. The top is constructed with plywood featuring slits, allowing for the placement of moth traps, Acarapis woodi mite prevention, and winter feed boxes. To prevent comb collapse, four metal rods are included. Usage instructions are detailed in the letter along with bee-attracting know-how.
