Made from naturally dried cedar wood. For recent heat countermeasures, the bottom board can be swapped between a standard type and a 6mm mesh wire screen. By removing the bottom board, internal inspections can be easily performed using a smartphone, mirror, etc. The top is made with a plywood board with slits, designed to accommodate wax moths, Acarapis woodi mites, and as a winter feeder box. Four metal rods are included for hive collapse prevention. Usage instructions are detailed in the letter along with bee-attracting know-how.
