This has been stored for many years!
This item was made by the same craftsman (deceased) who makes our very popular rice paddles, and the wood grain of this kneading bowl is wonderful!
Of course, it is made from a hollowed-out栃 (tochi) tree!
Since the craftsman is no longer with us, this is a very rare item!
As many kneading bowls were stored stacked on top of each other, there are some scratches from storage!
