Used for nearly 90 years at a Japanese confectionery shop. Primarily used for mochi pounding until the 1960s, and afterwards for grating yams such as Kashiwa Mochi and Ise Imo, and mixing them with sugar (this allows for fine and fluffy Jōyo Manju).

Accessories: Wooden dedicated stand, 40cm square.
If desired, a wooden lid (two half-moon shaped pieces that form the lid when joined) and a handmade wooden stick (surikogi) used for mixing yams can be included.

The distance from the stone mill to the road is within approximately 10 meters in a straight line, and the road width is 2 lanes, approximately 8 meters, so parking is possible.
