Description
This is a heavy, solid, bowl-shaped mochi-making mortar with excellent stability.

Previously, mochi was made at home once a year at the end of the year to celebrate the New Year.
The stone mortar has no visible scratches, chips, or cracks, but there are some black, brushstroke-like marks (please check the photos).
A wooden base for the stone mortar is not included.
The pestle is sturdy, but the tip is slightly worn.
We are looking for buyers who understand that this is a long-term, home-stored item.
Due to the nature of the item, we prefer buyers who can pick it up in person.
