38.28 $
Description
This is a shimenawa (sacred rope) made with the finest Yachiyo hemp from Tochigi Prefecture.
This sacred rope is made from lustrous, domestically produced sacred hemp from the 2025 harvest, used in Shinto rituals at shrines and Buddhist temples.
This sacred hemp is sometimes delivered to Shinto priests, and we also created the shimenawa for the torii gate of a shrine this year.
Welcome a wonderful 2026 with a shimenawa made of brilliant sacred hemp, the pinnacle of purification.
This is a 3-strand, left-twisted sacred hemp shimenawa, the same as those used at shrines and temples.
Bring a miniature version of the sacred ropes found at shrines into your home.
Hang the finest shimenawa in your home shrine or sacred space. ?
