Description
【About the Product】
This is a samurai helmet decoration for Tango no Sekku (Children's Day). It has a substantial weight and a very solid construction.
The helmet features a brave design, with dragon carvings on the kuwagata (helmet horns) and an intricate dragon maedate (crest) in the center. The fukikaeshi (side pieces) are carved with a powerful wave-like pattern.
This is a helmet only (with cushion) type, making it easy to put on and take off, so you can display it anywhere, such as in a small space in your room or on a shelf.
【Condition】
There are minor scuffs, dullness in color, and slight rust due to age, but these add to the depth of this vintage item, and there is no major damage.
Please check the photos for details such as the dragons on the kuwagata and maedate, and the back of the helmet.
The cushion shows some signs of use.
