For cats and very small dogs, we select aged, hard branches and peel them to create these toys.

Unlike other products, these are not hollowed out, peeled, or shaved, so many customers have told us how much they appreciate the difference in hardness and how much their pets engage with them!

We've made a set of two, one pear wood and one zelkova wood, for those who want to try both.

Please note that these are amateur measurements and may have errors.

Please compare the size to your pet's mouth size and the size of their current plush toys or balls.
For pets in the teething stage, male Japanese dogs, and active breeds with strong chewing power, a slightly thicker diameter that they can still grip will allow them to enjoy it for longer.

Pear wood branches are less likely to have sharp thorns sticking out, and when chewed, the wood crumbles like cork, so it's harmless if swallowed.
The bark is peeled off one by one from pear branches from Niigata Prefecture and dried for two years.

As these are amateur handmade items, they are cut with a chainsaw and the small branches are sanded with a belt sander (file). However, please understand that there may be missed spots or cracks/splits due to over-drying.

Since they are made of wood, your pet's teeth will not be damaged. If you choose the size carefully, there is no risk of injuring their mouth. However, please supervise your pet while they play.

Please refrain from purchasing if your pet has fruit allergies.
